What to watch

Published 26 Sep 2019

This week’s ‘What to Watch’ couldn’t be any more exciting!

This Sunday marks the weekend of the first fall Major as we visit the BMW Berlin Marathon.

A year ago we witnessed history when Eliud Kipchoge ran his dazzling 2:01:39 but this year the limelight has shifted to another group of juggernauts chasing fast times on the Berliner streets!

Running legend Kenenisa Bekele is looking fit and full of determination to run a special race. Accompanied by Ethiopia’s rising star and Tokyo Marathon winner Birhanu Legese and Jonathan Korir it will be a great race to watch.

In the women’s field all our eyes will be on Ashete Bekere and Selly Chepyego who are trending to great form and in hopes of something special.

This weekend also marks the start of the IAAF World Championships in Doha where 15 teammates will represent their countries. Here is an overview of who is competing!
