What to watch

It is proving to be an exciting weekend with two fantastic marathons on display.

On Sunday we have a strong squad on the starting line of the Paris Marathon headlining Selly Chepyego, Azmera Gebru and Azmera Abreha in the women’s race. In the men’s race Abrha Milaw and Hillary Kipsambu will donn the white and orange.

On Monday we expect some real fireworks. With the Boston Marathon finally here it is time for the 2nd Abbott World Major Marathon of the year. After a race in heroic conditions, 2017 Boston winner and World Champion Geoffrey Kirui ran out of steam just shy of the finish line to finish in 2nd place during last year’s edition.

With weather predictions being eerily similar to last year we are in for another great race. The NN Running Team will be strongly represented with front man Geoffrey Kirui, Solomon Deksisa, who won both the Mumbai and Hamburg marathon last year and Philemon ‘baby police’ Rono.
